Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) + Rucaparib Camsylate
Rucaparib Camsylate brand name: Rubraca.
Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) has a moderate interaction with Rucaparib Camsylate. Theoretically, BMPEA might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2D6 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Rucaparib Camsylate
Rucaparib Camsylate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) interacts with.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA strongly inhibits CYP2D6.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the idea behind this pairing. Rucaparib (Rubraca) is partly processed by a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. In lab studies, BMPEA appears to block that enzyme. If it does the same thing in people, your body might clear rucaparib a little more slowly, letting levels creep up. That could mean stronger side effects, things like nausea, fatigue, low blood counts, or changes in liver tests that your oncology team already watches closely.
One important note: this is only a theoretical concern based on test-tube research, not real patient data, so I don't want to alarm you. That said, BMPEA is an unapproved, amphetamine-like stimulant with real heart risks, and it's a tough mix with cancer therapy. Please loop in your oncologist or pharmacist before using any supplement like this.

About Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)
What is Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)?
- Weight loss
- Pre-workout energy
- Athletic performance
- Appetite suppression
- Mental focus
Beta-methylphenethylamine (BMPEA) is a synthetic stimulant chemically similar to amphetamine that has been found in some weight-loss and sports supplements, often without being clearly listed on the label. It is not an approved or well-studied dietary ingredient, and regulators have warned that it may carry real cardiovascular risks. Because of safety concerns and the lack of human research, it is best avoided.
About Rucaparib
What Is Rucaparib Used For?
Brand name: Rubraca
Rubraca is used for the maintenance treatment of adults with recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer that carries a BRCA mutation — but only in people who have responded (fully or partially) to platinum-based chemotherapy.
Rubraca is also used to treat adults with BRCA-mutated metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who have already been treated with androgen receptor-directed therapy. Patients must be confirmed to have a BRCA mutation before starting treatment, using an FDA-approved companion diagnostic test.
