Here's the gist with Belsomra (suvorexant): your body relies on an enzyme called CYP3A4 to clear this sleep medicine out. Lab studies suggest BMPEA can slow that same enzyme down by about a third. If it does, suvorexant could hang around longer and hit harder, leaving you groggier the next morning, dizzy, or unsteady on your feet.

I'll be honest, this is a theoretical concern drawn from test-tube data, not real patients, so we don't know how much it matters in people. That said, BMPEA is a stimulant that bumps up heart rate and blood pressure, which works against a drug meant to calm you for sleep. It's a poor pairing on its own. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
