Dextromethorphan, Methscopolamine, Phenylephrine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Bitter Orange interacts with.

Bitter orange might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Small clinical studies suggest that single or multiple doses of freshly squeezed bitter orange juice 200-240 mL can inhibit CYP3A4 metabolism of drugs, causing increased drug levels and potentially increasing the risk of adverse effects. However, the extent of the effect of bitter orange on CYP3A4-mediated drug interactions is unknown. Some evidence suggests that bitter orange selectively inhibits intestinal CYP3A4, but not hepatic CYP3A4. Its effect on P-glycoprotein, which strongly overlaps with CYP3A4 interactions, is unclear. One small clinical study shows that drinking 8 ounces of freshly squeezed bitter orange juice has no effect on cyclosporine, which seems to be more dependent on hepatic CYP3A4 and P-glycoprotein than intestinal CYP3A4.

Honestly, the evidence here is on the weaker side and was mostly seen with fresh bitter orange juice, not always with supplements. A bit of bitter orange in food likely won't matter, but concentrated weight-loss or energy supplements are a different story, especially since bitter orange is a stimulant that can nudge up your heart rate and blood pressure alongside the phenylephrine in this product. Here's the thing to watch with this combo. Your cold and cough product (DA Chewable) contains phenylephrine, a decongestant that already nudges up your blood pressure by tightening blood vessels. Bitter orange has synephrine, a stimulant that acts in a similar way. Stack them together and those effects can add up, so you may notice a faster or pounding heartbeat, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, or trouble sleeping.

The methscopolamine in this product can also dry you out and speed the heart a bit, which doesn't help. This concern is largely theoretical and rated moderate, but it's a reasonable caution, especially if you have heart issues or high blood pressure. Here's the lab-level idea behind this pairing. One compound in bitter orange (octopamine) appears to weakly block an enzyme called CYP2D6, which is the same enzyme your body uses to clear the dextromethorphan in this combo product. If that enzyme slows down, dextromethorphan could build up a little, which might mean more drowsiness, dizziness, or a foggy, lightheaded feeling.

That said, this is only seen in test-tube studies, never confirmed in real people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I'd be more mindful of overlapping stimulant effects, since bitter orange and the phenylephrine here can both nudge up heart rate and blood pressure. Run it past your pharmacist if you have any heart or blood pressure concerns.
