Vincristine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Boswellia Serrata interacts with.

Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might increase or decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Other in vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes at most concentrations, although it may modestly induce enzyme activity at low concentrations.

Here's the thinking on this pair. Vincristine is cleared from your body largely by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In test-tube studies, Boswellia mostly appears to slow down that enzyme (though at very low amounts it might slightly speed it up). If Boswellia blocked CYP3A4 in real life, vincristine could clear more slowly and build up, which may mean stronger side effects like nerve problems (tingling, numbness, weakness, constipation) or a bigger drop in blood counts.

The important caveat: this is theoretical, based only on lab data, not on people. Still, because vincristine is potent chemotherapy with a narrow safety margin, I'd play it safe. Please run any Boswellia supplement by your oncology team before using it.

Vincristine Sulfate Injection is approved to treat acute leukemia. It is also used as part of combination chemotherapy regimens for Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's malignant lymphomas, rhabdomyosarcoma (a soft-tissue cancer), neuroblastoma (a cancer of nerve tissue), and Wilms' tumor (a kidney cancer in children).

Because it works best alongside other cancer medicines, vincristine is almost always given as part of a multi-drug treatment plan rather than on its own.
