Chlorpheniramine, Phenylpropanolamine falls under ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS — the group Boxwood interacts with.

Evidence from in vitro research suggests that boxwood extract can inhibit acetylcholinesterase activity. Theoretically, concurrent use of anticholinergic drugs and boxwood might decrease the effectiveness of boxwood or the anticholinergic agent.

Here's the gist for your combination pill. The chlorpheniramine part is an antihistamine that works partly by blocking acetylcholine, which is what causes those familiar side effects like dry mouth, drowsiness, blurred vision, and trouble urinating. Lab studies hint that boxwood may do the opposite by boosting acetylcholine activity. In theory, the two could work against each other, meaning boxwood might slightly blunt the antihistamine effect, or vice versa.

I want to be honest with you though: this is based only on test-tube research, not real people, so it's quite speculative. The bigger concern is that boxwood itself can be toxic. Before adding it to anything, please check in with your pharmacist or doctor first.
