Here's the thing about this combination: your medicine contains aspirin, which already thins the blood a little by making platelets less sticky. Bridelia may do something similar. In animal studies, Bridelia bark extract cut clot formation by roughly 62 percent, so stacking it on top of aspirin could nudge your bleeding risk up. That might show up as easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or a cut that's slow to stop.

I want to be honest though: this is theoretical, based on lab and animal work, not real people. We just don't have human studies to say how strong it really is. The codeine part isn't the concern here. To be safe, chat with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing the two, especially if you bruise or bleed easily.
