Animal research suggests that Bridelia extracts decrease arterial pressure. Theoretically, concomitant use of Bridelia with antihypertensive drugs might have additive blood pressure lowering effects.
Some antihypertensive drugs include nifedipine (Adalat, Procardia), verapamil (Calan, Isoptin, Verelan), diltiazem (Cardizem), isradipine (DynaCirc), felodipine (Plendil), amlodipine (Norvasc), and others.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with Clevidipine (Cleviprex): it's a fast-acting IV medicine used in hospitals to bring high blood pressure down quickly, usually when someone needs close monitoring. Bridelia, based on animal studies, may also lower blood pressure a bit. So the worry here is simply additive, meaning both could push your numbers down at the same time and possibly drop them too low.

If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or notice a fast heartbeat. I want to be honest though: this is theoretical, drawn from lab and animal work, not from real cases in people. Since Clevidipine is given in a controlled hospital setting, your team is already watching your pressure carefully. Still, mention any supplements like Bridelia to your doctor or pharmacist beforehand.
