ESTROGENS
Why this applies to Estrogen
Estrogen falls under ESTROGENS — the group Bridelia interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for your estrogen therapy. In lab and animal studies, Bridelia ferruginea seems to act a little like estrogen itself, though much more weakly than a typical pharmaceutical estrogen. The thinking is that if you add a mild plant-based estrogen-like effect on top of your prescribed estrogen, you could be nudging your total estrogen activity higher than intended.
If that happened, you might notice more of estrogen's usual effects, things like breast tenderness, bloating, headaches, nausea, or spotting. I want to be honest though: this is purely theoretical and based on animals, not people, so we really don't know how much (if at all) it matters in real life. Please don't stop or change anything on your own. Just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

Estrogen Is Linked to Lower Levels of 5 Nutrients
Natural Medicines records Estrogen as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Bridelia — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
