Duvelisib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS — the group Cannabinol (cbn) interacts with.

Theoretically, CYP3A4 inhibitors might increase the levels and clinical effects of cannabinol.
In vitro research shows that CYP3A4 enzymes are involved in the 8-hydroxylation of cannabinol. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's how this one works: it's the supplement, not your cancer medicine, that gets affected. Lab studies show that the enzyme CYP3A4 helps break down cannabinol (CBN), and duvelisib (Copiktra) can slow that same enzyme down. In theory, that means CBN could build up in your body and hit you harder than expected, so you might feel extra drowsy, foggy, or dizzy.

I'll be honest with you: this is only based on test-tube research and hasn't actually been reported in real people, so the risk is uncertain. Still, duvelisib is serious leukemia treatment with its own side effects, and CBN products vary a lot in quality. Please don't add CBN without first checking with your oncology team or pharmacist.

What Is Duvelisib Used For?

Brand name: Copiktra

Copiktra (duvelisib) is used in adults with relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) — meaning the cancer has returned or stopped responding to treatment — after at least two prior therapies.

Copiktra is also used for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma (FL) after at least two prior systemic therapies. The follicular lymphoma approval is based on overall response rate and is considered an accelerated approval; continued approval may depend on results from confirmatory trials. Copiktra is not intended for use as a first- or second-line treatment for any of these cancers.
