Glipizide, Metformin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Cannabinol (cbn) interacts with.

Theoretically, cannabinol might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2C9 substrates.
In vitro research shows that cannabinol potently inhibits CYP2C9 enzymes. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

This combo pill pairs glipizide with metformin. The piece that matters here is the glipizide, which your liver clears using an enzyme called CYP2C9. Lab studies suggest CBN can block that enzyme. If it does, glipizide could hang around longer and push your blood sugar lower than expected. That can show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, hunger, or feeling confused, the classic signs of low blood sugar. Metformin works differently and isn't really affected this way.

I want to be straight with you though: this is only test-tube evidence and hasn't actually been seen in people. So it's a reason to be watchful, not panicked. If you'd like to try CBN, check your sugars more closely at first and run it by your pharmacist or doctor.
