Metformin, Linagliptin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS — the group Cannabinol (cbn) interacts with.

Theoretically, CYP3A4 inhibitors might increase the levels and clinical effects of cannabinol.
In vitro research shows that CYP3A4 enzymes are involved in the 8-hydroxylation of cannabinol. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the key thing to understand: in this pairing, it's the CBN that may be affected, not your Jentadueto. One part of your medication, linagliptin, can act as a mild blocker of a liver enzyme called CYP3A4, which happens to be one of the pathways that helps clear CBN from your body. So in theory, taking them together could let CBN build up a bit, possibly making its effects (like drowsiness) stronger.

I want to be honest about how thin this evidence is. It comes only from lab dish studies, and nothing like it has been seen in actual people. Linagliptin is also a fairly weak inhibitor. Still, since CBN products vary so much in quality, run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
