Here's the basic idea: ambenonium (Mytelase) works by boosting acetylcholine, the nerve signal that helps your muscles contract, which is why it's used for myasthenia gravis. Deanol (DMAE) is marketed on the theory that it also raises acetylcholine. So in principle, stacking the two could push acetylcholine a bit higher than your ambenonium dose alone, which theoretically might amp up cholinergic effects like stomach cramps, diarrhea, watery eyes, extra saliva, sweating, or muscle twitching.

I want to be honest with you, though: this is a theoretical, low-likelihood concern based on how these compounds are thought to work, not on real cases. The human evidence that deanol meaningfully raises acetylcholine is shaky. Still, since ambenonium is finely dosed, it's worth a quick chat with your doctor or pharmacist before adding deanol.
