Carphenazine is an older antipsychotic in the phenothiazine family, and like many drugs in that group it has some anticholinergic activity, meaning it partly blocks the brain chemical acetylcholine. Deanol is marketed on the idea that it might raise acetylcholine. So in theory, pushing acetylcholine up could work against part of how Carphenazine behaves, slightly nudging some of its effects.

Here's the honest picture though: this is a theoretical concern based on pharmacology, not real-world reports. It's rated minor and unlikely, and we don't even know how much deanol truly changes acetylcholine in people. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but since Carphenazine is a serious medication, please run any deanol use by your pharmacist or doctor first.
