Aminophylline, Amobarbital, Ephedrine falls under ANTICONVULSANTS — the group Dendrobium interacts with.

The dendrobium constituent dendrobine is reported to have convulsant effects. Theoretically, combining dendrobium with anticonvulsant drugs might decrease drug effectiveness and increase the risk of seizure. Some anticonvulsant drugs include phenobarbital, primidone (Mysoline), valproic acid (Depakene), gabapentin (Neurontin), carbamazepine (Tegretol), phenytoin (Dilantin), and others.

Here's the thing to know about this combo product (Amesec contains aminophylline, amobarbital, and ephedrine). The piece that matters for Dendrobium is the amobarbital, which is a barbiturate sedative that also calms overactive brain signals, much like the seizure medicines this interaction is built around. One natural compound in Dendrobium, called dendrobine, has been reported to have convulsant (seizure-promoting) effects. So in theory, taking Dendrobium could work against the calming action of the amobarbital.

I want to be honest that this is a theoretical concern based on how the plant behaves in lab studies, not real-world cases, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since this product affects the brain and heart, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing in Dendrobium.
