Methyltestosterone Buccal falls under TESTOSTERONE — the group Dhea interacts with.

Theoretically, DHEA might increase the effects and side effects of testosterone therapy.
DHEA is a precursor to estrogen and androgen and is metabolized into those substances. In clinical research, DHEA supplements increase the levels of these hormones. The clinical significance of these findings is unclear.

Here's the simple version: methyltestosterone is a man-made androgen, basically a form of testosterone you take by mouth. DHEA is a hormone building block your body can turn into more testosterone and estrogen. So when you pair the two, you may be adding to the same hormone pool from two directions at once.

In theory, that could nudge testosterone-type effects a little higher. Think things like acne, oily skin, mood swings, fluid retention, or in some people changes in libido. To be fair, this concern comes only from lab and animal-type data, and the real-world importance isn't clear, so I wouldn't panic over it. Still, since you're already on prescription hormone therapy, run the DHEA past your doctor or pharmacist before adding it.
