Cyclobenzaprine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Dhea interacts with.

Theoretically, DHEA might increase the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Some preliminary evidence shows that DHEA may inhibit CYP3A4; however, the clinical significance of this potential interaction is not known.

Here's the gist with these two. Your body partly clears cyclobenzaprine using a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. There's some early, hand-wavy evidence that DHEA might slow that enzyme down a little. If it does, cyclobenzaprine could hang around longer and feel a bit stronger than usual.

In practice that might show up as extra drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, or feeling foggy, since those are cyclobenzaprine's usual calling cards. Honestly though, this is theoretical and based only on scattered anecdotal reports, so it may never amount to anything noticeable for you. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but do mention to your pharmacist or doctor that you take DHEA, and watch for unusual sleepiness when you first combine them.

What Is Cyclobenzaprine Used For?

Brand names: Cyclobenzaprine, Flexeril, Cycloprine

Cyclobenzaprine tablets and extended-release capsules are used alongside rest and physical therapy to relieve muscle spasm caused by acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions — easing pain, tenderness, and limited movement. This use is intended for short-term treatment only (up to 2–3 weeks).

Tonmya, the sublingual (under-the-tongue) form of cyclobenzaprine, is separately indicated for the treatment of fibromyalgia in adults. It is not the same as the oral tablet or capsule formulations.
