Here's the gist with Diclofenac (Voltaren) and DHEA: diclofenac is an NSAID, and like other NSAIDs it can already make your platelets a little less sticky, which slightly raises bleeding risk and can irritate the stomach lining. DHEA has been shown in lab and human studies to slow platelet clumping too. So the concern is that stacking the two could nudge your bleeding risk a bit higher, especially showing up as easy bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach upset and dark stools.

I want to be honest: this is rated as a theoretical, possible interaction based on early research, so it's a caution and not an alarm. Most people won't run into trouble, but if you take DHEA daily, bruise easily, or have any stomach issues, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Diclofenac sodium topical gel is used to treat actinic keratoses (AK) — rough, scaly skin patches that form after years of sun exposure. These patches are considered precancerous, meaning they can develop into skin cancer if left untreated.
