Dicumarol falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Diosmin interacts with.

Theoretically, diosmin may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
A case of spontaneous intraventricular hemorrhage has been reported for a 77-year-old female after 6 weeks of warfarin therapy, despite an international normalized ratio (INR) of only 1.8. The patient had also been taking aspirin and diosmin for several years. Experts speculate that chronic intake of diosmin predisposed the patient to spontaneous intraventricular hemorrhage by inducing chronic microcirculatory hypertension and inhibiting platelet aggregation. The presence of aspirin was also thought to play a role in this event.

Dicumarol is an old-school blood thinner, similar in spirit to warfarin. It slows your blood's ability to clot. The concern here is that diosmin might gently add to that blood-thinning effect, which could tip you toward easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or, in rare cases, more serious bleeding.

I want to be honest about the evidence: this is on the theoretical and anecdotal side. It rests largely on a single case report involving warfarin, aspirin, and long-term diosmin together, not solid trials. So please don't panic. Still, because dicumarol is a narrow-margin drug where small shifts matter, talk with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two so they can keep an eye on your bleeding signs.

Diosmin is a citrus-derived flavonoid most often used for vein-related problems such as chronic venous insufficiency and hemorrhoids, and it is usually combined with a related flavonoid called hesperidin.
