Here's the thinking on this pair. Muromonab-CD3 is a powerful immune-suppressing medicine given to stop your body from rejecting a transplanted organ. Its whole job is to quiet down your immune system. Elderberry, on the other hand, may gently rev up parts of the immune system by boosting signaling chemicals like interleukins and tumor necrosis factor. So in theory, they pull in opposite directions, and elderberry could work against what your transplant medicine is trying to do.

I want to be honest that this is mostly a theoretical concern based on lab work, not strong human studies. But with a transplant on the line, even a small risk isn't worth taking. Please don't start or stop anything on your own. Run it by your transplant team or pharmacist first.
