Acenocoumarol falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Garcinia interacts with.

Theoretically, hydroxycitric acid (HCA), the main active ingredient in garcinia, might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
HCA inhibits platelet aggregation in vitro. The inhibitory effect seems to be greater in platelets extracted from diabetic subjects than non-diabetic subjects.

Acenocoumarol (Sintrom) is a powerful blood thinner, and it's one of those medicines where the dose has to be just right. Even small nudges in either direction can shift your INR and change how thin your blood is. That's why I pay attention to anything you add on top of it.

Here's the concern with Garcinia: in lab studies, its main compound (hydroxycitric acid) seems to make platelets a little less sticky. On its own that's only a theoretical effect, but stacked with acenocoumarol it could add to your bleeding risk. Watch for warning signs like easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or dark stools. Please don't start Garcinia without checking with your doctor or pharmacist first, since they may want to watch your INR more closely.
