Garcinia + Doxepin
Doxepin brand names: Sinequan, Doxepin, Zonalon.
Garcinia has a moderate interaction with Doxepin. Theoretically, combining garcinia with other serotonergic drugs might increase the risk of serotonergic side effects, including serotonin syndrome.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
SEROTONERGIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Doxepin
Doxepin falls under SEROTONERGIC DRUGS — the group Garcinia interacts with.
In one report, a patient experienced serotonin syndrome after taking garcinia extract (60% hydroxycitric acid) 1000 mg daily in combination with escitalopram 20 mg, which had been taken for a year. The patient was switched to sertraline 50 mg daily and again experienced serotonin syndrome.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist: doxepin is a tricyclic that gently nudges up serotonin in the brain, and Garcinia has been linked, in rare cases, to pushing serotonin too high. Put them together and there is a theoretical chance of too much serotonin activity. That can look like agitation, a racing heart, sweating, shivering, muscle twitching, or feeling restless and confused.
I want to be honest about how thin this evidence is. The concern comes from a couple of anecdotal reports with antidepressants, not solid studies, and the low doses of doxepin used for sleep (Silenor) make this even less likely. Still, since Garcinia has weak weight-loss proof and some liver safety questions, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Doxepin page
“Doxepin is a sedating tricyclic prescribed for depression, anxiety, and often sleep itself, and the people taking it tend to shop the same shelf where the trouble sits. Of the 186 supplements on file, 78 deepen its drowsiness, with alcohol (beer and wine carry major, well-documented ratings) and kava the clearest examples, and I would…”

Doxepin Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Doxepin as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Garcinia — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
