Theoretically, taking apple cider vinegar, which is contained in Goli ACV, with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia (i.e., low blood sugar). Apple cider vinegar might reduce fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels and decrease gastric emptying in people with diabetes, which could theoretically, have additive effects on glucose levels when used with antidiabetes drugs.

Here's the simple version: insulin already does the heavy lifting of lowering your blood sugar. Apple cider vinegar may give a small nudge in that same direction by slightly lowering blood sugar and slowing how fast your stomach empties. Stack the two and, in theory, your sugar could drop a little lower than expected. With a fast-acting product like Humalog, that could mean shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, hunger, or feeling lightheaded.

That said, this is rated minor and mostly theoretical, and the amount of vinegar in a Goli gummy is pretty small, so big swings are unlikely. Don't change your insulin dose on your own. If you'd like to add these gummies, check in with your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on your readings for a bit.

What Is Insulin Lispro Injection Used For?

Brand names: Humalog, Humalog Mix 75/25, Humulin R, Humulin N, Humulin L, Humulin 50/50, Humulin 70/30, Humulin U, NovoLog, Velosulin, Novolog Mix 70/30, Actrapid, Humulin S, Insuman Rapid

Insulin lispro injection is used to improve glycemic control (blood sugar management) in people with diabetes mellitus. It is a rapid-acting insulin analog approved for use in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Admelog is specifically indicated to improve glycemic control in patients with diabetes mellitus. Humalog Mix75/25 is indicated to improve glycemic control in adults with diabetes mellitus; it is a fixed-ratio mixture of insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine, and its fixed proportions do not allow for separate adjustment of basal (background) and prandial (mealtime) doses.
