Here's the gist for folks taking alogliptin (Nesina): apple cider vinegar may nudge your blood sugar down a little on its own, partly by slowing how fast your stomach empties and by trimming after-meal glucose spikes. Since alogliptin already works to lower blood sugar by boosting your own insulin, stacking the two could, in theory, add up and push you a touch lower than expected.

The good news is this is rated minor, and the effect from a gummy or two is usually small. Alogliptin by itself rarely causes serious lows. Still, keep an eye out for shakiness, sweating, or feeling lightheaded, especially if you also take other diabetes meds. There's no need to panic or stop anything, but it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor so you can monitor your numbers.
