Cryptenamine, Methyclothiazide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Guarumo interacts with.

Evidence from animal research suggests that aqueous and ethanolic extracts of guarumo leaf can lower blood pressure when administered intravenously to rats. Theoretically, concomitant use of antihypertensive drugs with guarumo might enhance therapeutic effects and increase the risk of hypotension. Some antihypertensive drugs include captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), losartan (Cozaar), valsartan (Diovan), diltiazem (Cardizem), amlodipine (Norvasc), hydrochlorothiazide (HydroDIURIL), furosemide (Lasix), and many others.

Diutensen pairs cryptenamine with methyclothiazide, a thiazide-type water pill, and both ingredients work to bring blood pressure down. Guarumo has its own mild blood-pressure-lowering reputation, so the worry here is simple addition: stacking the two could push your numbers a little lower than intended. If that happens, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unusually tired, especially when standing up quickly.

I want to keep this in perspective. The evidence is only from animal studies where guarumo was given by injection, so this is a theoretical concern, not something proven in people drinking the tea. Still, since you're already on a blood pressure medicine, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding guarumo, and keep an eye on your readings if you do.
