Sitaxsentan sodium falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Hemp Agrimony interacts with.

Hemp agrimony contains hepatotoxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PA). Theoretically, using hemp agrimony with hepatotoxic drugs might have additive adverse effects on the liver. Some drugs that can adversely affect the liver include acetaminophen (Tylenol and others), amiodarone (Cordarone), carbamazepine (Tegretol), isoniazid (INH), methotrexate (Rheumatrex), methyldopa (Aldomet), fluconazole (Diflucan), itraconazole (Sporanox), erythromycin (Erythrocin, Ilosone, others), phenytoin (Dilantin), lovastatin (Mevacor), pravastatin (Pravachol), simvastatin (Zocor), and many others.

Here's the thing with sitaxsentan (Thelin): it's a medicine for pulmonary hypertension that's already known to be tough on the liver. In fact, liver concerns are a big reason this drug was pulled from the market in many countries. So liver safety is front and center here.

Hemp agrimony can contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids, natural compounds that may damage liver cells. Putting two liver stressors together could, in theory, add up and raise your risk of liver trouble. Warning signs would include things like yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, nausea, or unusual tiredness. To be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on how each one works, not proven cases. Still, with a drug this hard on the liver, I'd play it safe and check with your doctor or pharmacist first.
