Here's the simple version: morphine already slows down your brain and body, and hops may add a little more of that calming, drowsy effect on top. So if you take them together, you could feel extra sleepy, more lightheaded, or foggy, and in theory it could make morphine's slowing of your breathing a bit more pronounced. The atropine part isn't really the concern here, it's the sedation from the morphine side.

I want to be straight with you though: this warning is theoretical, mostly from animal studies, not strong human proof. Still, since morphine is a powerful drug, I'd play it safe. Don't change anything on your own, just check with your doctor or pharmacist before pairing them, especially if you ever feel unusually drowsy.
