The thing to know here is that both GHB and the morphine in this combination calm down your central nervous system, and stacking two depressants is where the real danger comes in. Morphine already slows your breathing and makes you very drowsy. Add GHB on top, and those effects can pile up fast, leading to dangerously slow or shallow breathing, deep sedation, unresponsiveness, or even coma. The atropine part isn't the worry here; it's the morphine plus GHB combination.

This warning is based on real-world case reports rather than large studies, but the risk is serious enough that I would not take these together outside of close medical supervision. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before combining anything with your morphine.

What is Gamma-hydroxybutyrate (ghb)?

GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate) is a powerful central nervous system depressant that is NOT a safe dietary supplement. In the U.S. it is a controlled substance, and only a tightly regulated prescription form (sodium oxybate) is legal for narcolepsy. Non-prescription GHB can cause coma, breathing failure, and death, and it is also a known 'date-rape' drug — it should not be taken outside of medical supervision.
