Concomitant use of amphetamines and GHB can increase the risk of severe adverse effects.
Concomitant use of GHB with amphetamines has been associated with severe adverse effects. Theoretically, concomitant use of GHB with amphetamines may also antagonize the effects of GHB. Conversely, concomitant use of GHB with amphetamines is reported to mask the symptoms of amphetamine intoxication.

Here's the short version: mixing GHB with dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine) is a risky combination, and not something to play around with. These two drugs pull your nervous system in opposite directions. Dextroamphetamine is a stimulant that speeds you up, raising heart rate, blood pressure, and alertness, while GHB is a heavy sedative that slows the brain and breathing. When taken together, the stimulant can hide just how sedated and dangerously slowed your breathing has become, so a person may not realize they're heading toward an overdose.

Honestly, this matters most because non-prescription GHB itself is dangerous and illegal. The evidence here is anecdotal, but the real-world reports of severe reactions are enough reason to steer clear. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before combining anything with your dextroamphetamine.

GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate) is a powerful central nervous system depressant that is NOT a safe dietary supplement. In the U.S. it is a controlled substance, and only a tightly regulated prescription form (sodium oxybate) is legal for narcolepsy. Non-prescription GHB can cause coma, breathing failure, and death, and it is also a known 'date-rape' drug — it should not be taken outside of medical supervision.
