Methamphetamine falls under AMPHETAMINES — the group Gamma-hydroxybutyrate (ghb) interacts with.

Concomitant use of amphetamines and GHB can increase the risk of severe adverse effects.
Concomitant use of GHB with amphetamines has been associated with severe adverse effects. Theoretically, concomitant use of GHB with amphetamines may also antagonize the effects of GHB. Conversely, concomitant use of GHB with amphetamines is reported to mask the symptoms of amphetamine intoxication.

First things first: GHB is not a real dietary supplement. Outside of the tightly regulated prescription version for narcolepsy, it's a controlled substance that can cause coma, stopped breathing, and death. So combining it with prescription methamphetamine (Desoxyn) is something I'd steer you away from entirely.

Here's the tricky part. Methamphetamine is a powerful stimulant (it speeds the brain up), while GHB is a heavy sedative (it slows the brain down). Mixing an upper and a downer is risky because each can hide the warning signs of the other. The stimulant can mask how dangerously sedated you're becoming from GHB, so you may not notice trouble until breathing or heart problems set in. The reports we have are mostly anecdotal, but the danger is real. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before going anywhere near this combination.
