Here's the gist: estropipate is a form of estrogen, and horny goat weed seems to behave a bit like estrogen too. Lab studies show it has estrogen-like activity, and a little human research suggests it can nudge estrogen levels up. So pairing the two could, in theory, stack estrogen effects on top of each other.

What might that look like? Possibly more of estrogen's usual side effects, things like breast tenderness, bloating, nausea, headaches, or spotting. I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern based mostly on how the herb behaves, not on strong proof in people taking both together. Please don't stop or change your estropipate on your own. Just loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding the supplement so they can weigh it with your history.
