The grape seed extract in SuperBeets, about 150mg per two-chew serving, has shown in lab dish studies a possible ability to slow down an enzyme called CYP2D6. Your body uses that same enzyme to help clear amitriptyline. If it's slowed, amitriptyline could linger a bit longer, which in theory might nudge up familiar side effects like drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, blurry vision, or dizziness when you stand.

That said, I don't want you to lose sleep over this. This is a minor, unlikely interaction based only on test-tube work, and it has never actually been reported in real people. Still, since amitriptyline can be sensitive to changes, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding the chews.
