Zuclopenthizol falls under SEROTONERGIC DRUGS — the group Iboga interacts with.

Theoretically, taking iboga with serotonergic drugs might increase levels of serotonin, resulting in additive effects with serotonergic drugs.
Ibogaine, a constituent in iboga, has serotonergic effects. Theoretically, combining serotonergic drugs with iboga might increase the risk of serotonergic side effects, including serotonin syndrome and cerebral vasoconstrictive disorders. Monitor patients for signs of serotonin syndrome and other serotonergic side effects if using iboga with serotonergic drugs.

Here's the picture with zuclopenthixol (Clopixol), an older antipsychotic. Iboga's main compound, ibogaine, nudges serotonin levels up in the brain. Zuclopenthixol itself has some serotonin-related activity too, so the worry is that stacking the two could add up and, in rare cases, push toward serotonin syndrome: think agitation, sweating, shivering, fast heartbeat, muscle twitching, or confusion.

I'll be honest, this concern is theoretical and based on how these substances behave, not on real-world reports. But there's a bigger issue: both ibogaine and zuclopenthixol can affect heart rhythm, and ibogaine carries serious, even deadly, cardiac risks. Iboga isn't something I'd recommend, especially alongside this medication. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before combining anything like this.

Here's the concern with putting these two together. Zuclopenthixol (Clopixol) is an antipsychotic that, on its own, can stretch out something called the QT interval, which is the timing of your heart's electrical recharge. Iboga, through its main compound ibogaine, has been linked in several real-world case reports to the very same effect. Stack them and the worry is an additive push on that heart rhythm, which in rare cases can trigger a dangerous, fast heartbeat.

To be fair, this is rated on weaker, anecdotal evidence, so it's a theoretical caution rather than a proven, common event. But ibogaine carries serious heart risks and isn't legal in the US, so I wouldn't go near this combination. Please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before changing anything.
