Here's the simple version: guayusa tea is basically a caffeine source, and caffeine is itself a stimulant. PMA (methoxyamphetamine) is also a powerful stimulant. When you stack one stimulant on top of another, their effects tend to pile up rather than cancel out.

So pairing the two could mean a faster or pounding heartbeat, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, anxiety, and feeling overheated. That's the concern experts are flagging here, though it's based mostly on expert opinion rather than hard studies. I'll be honest with you too: PMA is a dangerous, unpredictable substance with no medical use, and adding caffeine only raises the risk. Please talk with a doctor or pharmacist before combining anything like this.
