Here's the simple version: both lemon balm and Rozerem (ramelteon) can make you feel calmer and sleepier. Ramelteon is designed to help you drift off by acting like your body's own melatonin. Lemon balm seems to have its own gentle calming effect. Put them together and those relaxing effects may stack up, so you could feel a bit drowsier, groggier, or more lightheaded than usual, especially the next morning.

This concern is mostly theoretical and comes from small studies and animal research, so it's not a dramatic or dangerous combo for most people. Still, if you're planning to use both, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor first, and be careful with driving until you know how the pair affects you.
