Flurbiprofen falls under NONSTEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS (NSAIDs) — the group Lithium interacts with.

Theoretically, taking lithium supplements with NSAIDs might increase lithium levels and adverse effects.
NSAIDs can decrease the renal clearance of lithium and increase lithium levels. It is unclear if this interaction would be clinically significant with the smaller doses found in lithium supplements.

Here's the gist with these two together. Flurbiprofen is an anti-inflammatory (an NSAID), and one of its quirks is that it can make your kidneys hold onto lithium a little more. When your kidneys clear lithium more slowly, the lithium level in your blood can creep up. Higher lithium levels are where you start to see problems like nausea, hand tremors, feeling unusually drowsy or confused, or being extra thirsty.

The good news is this is mostly a theoretical concern based on how the drugs behave, not strong real-world proof, especially with the small amounts in lithium supplements. Still, lithium has a narrow safety window, so even small shifts matter. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, and don't change anything on your own.

Flurbiprofen tablets (sold as Flurbiprofen and Lurbiro) are used to relieve the pain, swelling, and stiffness of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Flurbiprofen Sodium eye drops are a separate product used during eye surgery — specifically to keep the pupil from constricting (getting smaller) while the procedure is underway. This use applies only to the ophthalmic (eye drop) form.
