Temsirolimus falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Lychee interacts with.

Theoretically, lychee might reduce the effectiveness of immunosuppressant drugs.
In vitro, flavonoids extracted from lychee show immunostimulant effects. So far, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist: temsirolimus (Torisel) calms down part of the immune system as part of how it fights kidney cancer. The concern with lychee is purely theoretical. In lab studies, certain flavonoids pulled from lychee seemed to give the immune system a little nudge in the opposite direction. If that happened in a person, the worry is it could blunt the immune-quieting effect of the drug. This has never actually been seen in humans, and the evidence is only test-tube level.

Practically speaking, eating lychee fruit as a snack is very unlikely to cause any trouble. Concentrated lychee extracts are the bigger unknown, so I'd skip those while on this medicine. Don't change anything on your own. Just give your oncology team or pharmacist a quick heads-up before adding any lychee supplement.
