IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Bimekizumab-bkzx
Bimekizumab-bkzx falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Neem interacts with.
Animal research suggests that neem might have immunostimulant effects.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the idea with Bimzelx (bimekizumab): it's a biologic injection that works by calming down parts of your immune system to control plaque psoriasis and related conditions. Neem, on the other hand, has shown immune-stimulating effects in animal studies. In theory, revving the immune system up could work against what Bimzelx is trying to do, meaning your skin or joint symptoms might not stay as well controlled.
I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern based only on lab and animal research, not real human evidence, so I wouldn't panic. Still, before adding a concentrated neem supplement, run it by your pharmacist or dermatologist. Please don't stop or change your Bimzelx on your own.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Bimekizumab-bkzx page
“Bimekizumab-bkzx (Bimzelx) works by deliberately quieting part of the immune system to control plaque psoriasis, and its own label flags liver enzyme elevations, so the 89 supplement and herbal entries on this page deserve a careful read rather than a shrug. All three major-rated interactions center on the liver: Siberian cocklebur, wh…”

About Neem
What is Neem?
- Skin conditions
- Dental and gum health
- Antimicrobial and antiparasitic
- Digestive upset
- Blood sugar support
- Insect repellent/pesticide
Neem is a tree from India used for centuries in traditional medicine, especially for skin, dental, and antimicrobial purposes. Some small studies are promising for oral health and skin, but high-quality human evidence is limited for most uses. Neem oil and seed extracts can be toxic if swallowed, especially in children, so use with caution and talk to your pharmacist or doctor first.
