Here's the basic idea with Empliciti (elotuzumab) and noni. Elotuzumab is an antibody-based cancer medicine, so it isn't activated or broken down the way pills handled by liver enzymes are. The worry here isn't that noni changes how elotuzumab works. It's that both can be tough on the liver, and stacking two liver stressors together may add up.

Honestly, this concern is mostly theoretical and based on a few scattered reports of noni causing liver trouble, so I don't want to alarm you. Still, since you're already on a serious multi-drug myeloma regimen, I'd skip concentrated noni supplements and run any noni juice past your oncology team or pharmacist first.

Noni is a tropical fruit used widely in folk medicine and sold mostly as a juice or supplement, but solid human evidence for its many claimed benefits is limited. About Elotuzumab Injection

What Is Elotuzumab Injection Used For?

Brand name: Empliciti

Empliciti is used to treat multiple myeloma (a cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow) in adults who have already tried other treatments. It is always given as part of a combination regimen — never alone.

Empliciti combined with lenalidomide and dexamethasone is used in adults who have received one to three prior therapies. Empliciti combined with pomalidomide and dexamethasone is used in adults who have received at least two prior therapies, including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor.
