Noni + Dapsone
Dapsone brand names: Dapsone, Avlosulfon, Aczone.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Dapsone
Dapsone falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Noni interacts with.
There is concern that noni might cause hepatotoxicity in some patients. Advise patients against combining noni with potentially hepatotoxic drugs.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: both Noni (especially as a concentrated juice or supplement taken regularly) and Dapsone can be tough on the liver. Dapsone already carries a known risk of liver irritation, and it can also stress red blood cells in some people. Adding Noni on top may stack that liver burden, so the worry is about a bit more strain rather than a new, separate problem.
I want to be honest about the strength of this one. It's theoretical and based mostly on scattered case reports, not strong studies. Still, watch for warning signs like yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, unusual tiredness, or nausea. Before pairing these, please check with your pharmacist or doctor so your liver can be monitored properly.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Dapsone page
“Dapsone treats serious conditions, from dermatitis herpetiformis to leprosy, and its supplement list is one I'd want a patient to read closely rather than skim. Most entries touch how the body handles dapsone through the CYP3A4 enzyme, so grapefruit can raise its blood level while St.”

About Noni
What is Noni?
- General wellness and energy
- Inflammation and joint pain
- Immune support
- High blood pressure
- Skin and wound care
- Digestive complaints
Noni is a tropical fruit used widely in folk medicine and sold mostly as a juice or supplement, but solid human evidence for its many claimed benefits is limited. While moderate juice intake is generally well tolerated, there are rare reports of liver problems, and it should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it, especially if you have kidney or liver disease.
