Here's the gist: Noni juice may have a mild blood-pressure-lowering effect of its own. Since prazosin already relaxes your blood vessels to bring your numbers down, adding noni on top could push your blood pressure a little lower than intended. That's the concern here, the two working in the same direction.

If your pressure dips too far, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or even faint, especially when you stand up quickly. Prazosin is already known for a strong "first-dose" drop, so be a bit cautious. That said, this interaction is based on weak, anecdotal evidence, not strong studies, so it's a possibility rather than a sure thing. Before adding noni, check in with your pharmacist or doctor and keep an eye on your readings.

What Is Prazosin Used For?

Prazosin hydrochloride capsules are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events, including strokes and heart attacks. It can be used alone or combined with other blood pressure medications, such as diuretics (water pills) or beta-blockers.

Managing high blood pressure is part of a broader approach to heart health, which may also include changes to diet, exercise, and other medications as directed by your prescriber.
