Here's the thing to keep in mind if you're on Loqtorzi (toripalimab), an immunotherapy drug used for certain nasopharyngeal cancers. This medicine can already put stress on the liver on its own, and one of the known side effects is inflammation of the liver (hepatitis), which your care team watches for with regular blood tests.

Noni has a handful of reported cases where it seemed to harm the liver too. So the concern here is simple: stacking two things that can each be tough on the liver could add up. This worry is theoretical and based on scattered anecdotal reports, not strong proof, so I don't want to alarm you. Still, since your liver is already being monitored during cancer treatment, please check with your oncology team before adding noni juice or supplements.

What Is Toripalimab-Tpzi Used For?

Brand name: Loqtorzi

Loqtorzi (toripalimab-tpzi) is approved for adults with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), a cancer that starts in the nasopharynx — the area behind the nose and above the back of the throat.

Loqtorzi is used in two ways: combined with cisplatin and gemcitabine as an initial (first-line) treatment for metastatic or recurrent locally advanced NPC; or as a single agent for recurrent unresectable or metastatic NPC that has progressed on or after a platinum-based chemotherapy regimen.
