Insulin (Pork) falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Phellodendron interacts with.

Theoretically, phellodendron may increase the risk of hypoglycemia when taken with antidiabetes drugs.
Phellodendron contains berberine. Clinical research shows that berberine may lower blood glucose levels. Theoretically, phellodendron might also lower blood glucose levels.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: your pork insulin already does the heavy lifting of lowering blood sugar. Phellodendron contains berberine, which some research suggests can nudge blood sugar down on its own. Stack the two together and the worry is simply additive, your numbers could drop lower than you intend.

If that happens, you might feel the usual signs of low blood sugar: shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, dizziness, confusion, or sudden hunger. I'll be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on how berberine behaves, not proven for this exact combo. Still, insulin leaves little room for surprises, so please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding phellodendron, and keep checking your sugars closely.
