This combination pill mixes acetaminophen (a pain reliever), chlorzoxazone (a muscle relaxant), and codeine (an opioid). The concern on file is really about intravenous (IV) procaine, which doctors avoid pairing with sedating medicines like this one. It is not about the numbing shot you might get at the dentist, and it is not about eating any food.

The worry is mostly theoretical and based on how these drugs behave, not on strong human studies. Still, both codeine and chlorzoxazone can make you drowsy, dizzy, or slow your breathing, and IV procaine could add to that. If you have had any procaine product and take this pill, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
