Rauwolscine + Aspirin, Carisoprodol, Codeine Phosphate
Aspirin, Carisoprodol, Codeine Phosphate brand name: Soma Compound w/ Codeine.
Aspirin, Carisoprodol, Codeine Phosphate falls into 3 drug categories that Rauwolscine can interact with; the most serious is rated moderate. Theoretically, taking rauwolscine with seizure threshold lowering drugs might increase the risk of adverse convulsant effects.

These two interact in 3 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 3 Interactions?
Rauwolscine interacts with whole categories of medication. Aspirin, Carisoprodol, Codeine Phosphate falls into 3 of those categories, so it can interact with Rauwolscine in 3 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Moderate).
SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS
1 of 3Why this applies to Aspirin, Carisoprodol, Codeine Phosphate
Aspirin, Carisoprodol, Codeine Phosphate falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Rauwolscine interacts with.
In animal research, intraperitoneal rauwolscine lowered the seizure threshold level of the drug metrazol.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
This combination product (Soma Compound with Codeine) pairs aspirin and codeine with the muscle relaxant carisoprodol. Carisoprodol, and to a lesser extent codeine, can lower the brain's seizure threshold, meaning they may make seizures a bit more likely in people who are prone to them. Rauwolscine, the stimulant in many fat-burner and pre-workout products, has shown in animal lab studies that it can also lower that threshold.
So in theory, stacking the two together could add up and slightly raise the risk of a seizure, along with rauwolscine's usual jittery effects like a racing heart, higher blood pressure, and anxiety. This is only a theoretical concern based on animal data, not proven in people. Still, it's worth running past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES
2 of 3Aspirin, Carisoprodol, Codeine Phosphate also falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES.
Rauwolscine is structurally related to yohimbine. In vitro research shows that yohimbine inhibits CYP2D6 enzyme activity.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the wrinkle with this combo: the codeine part of Soma Compound w/ Codeine is actually a prodrug. Your body has to convert codeine into morphine using a liver enzyme called CYP2D6 before you get real pain relief. Rauwolscine is chemically a cousin of yohimbine, and lab studies hint that it may slow down that same CYP2D6 enzyme.
So in theory, rauwolscine could reduce how much codeine turns into morphine, meaning you might get less pain relief than expected. Keep in mind this is only theoretical, based on test-tube data, so it may not amount to much in real life. The aspirin and carisoprodol pieces aren't affected this way. Since rauwolscine can also raise heart rate and blood pressure, it's worth running this past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
3 of 3Aspirin, Carisoprodol, Codeine Phosphate also falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS.
Rauwolscine is structurally related to yohimbine. In vitro research shows that yohimbine inhibits platelet aggregation.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
This combination product contains aspirin, and that's the piece that matters here. Aspirin already thins the blood by blocking platelets from clumping together. Rauwolscine, a cousin of yohimbine found in some pre-workout and fat-burner supplements, may have a mild blood-thinning effect of its own. Stacked together, the concern is a slightly higher chance of bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding that's slow to stop.
I'll be honest with you: this is a theoretical worry based mostly on lab studies of yohimbine, not real-world reports, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, rauwolscine can also raise heart rate and blood pressure, which isn't ideal. Run it past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially if you bruise easily.
