In animal research, intraperitoneal rauwolscine lowered the seizure threshold level of the drug metrazol.

Here's the gist for these two together. Rauwolscine is a stimulant that, at least in animal studies, seemed to make the brain a little more prone to seizures. Levorphanol is a strong opioid pain reliever, and like many opioids it can also lower the seizure threshold, especially at higher doses or in people already prone to seizures. So the worry is that stacking the two could nudge that risk up a bit.

I want to be straight with you though: this concern comes from lab and animal data, not real-world human cases, so it's more theoretical than proven. Still, since levorphanol already carries this risk, I'd run the combo past your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them.
