Here's the simple version. Paliperidone (the long-acting Invega Trinza shot) is an antipsychotic, and like many drugs in its class, it can slightly lower the brain's threshold for seizures. Rauwolscine, the stimulant found in some fat-burner and pre-workout products, may do the same thing. Stack the two and, in theory, you could nudge that seizure risk a little higher.

I want to be honest about how strong this evidence is: it's weak. The concern comes from an animal study, not from people, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Still, with a stimulant that can also raise your heart rate, blood pressure, and anxiety, I'd run it past your doctor or pharmacist before combining them, especially if you've ever had a seizure.

Paliperidone injection is used to treat schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder in adults. Different branded products are approved for specific treatment situations.

Invega Sustenna (once-monthly injection) treats both schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. Invega Trinza (every-three-month injection) and Invega Hafyera (every-six-month injection) treat schizophrenia in adults who have already been stabilized on a paliperidone palmitate injectable. Erzofri extended-release is a once-monthly injectable for schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder in adults.
