Sorafenib falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Rauwolscine interacts with.

Theoretically, rauwolscine may have antiplatelet effects and may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Rauwolscine is structurally related to yohimbine. In vitro research shows that yohimbine inhibits platelet aggregation.

Here's the thing to know with Sorafenib (Nexavar): it can already thin your blood a bit and raise your bleeding risk on its own. Rauwolscine, the stimulant in many fat-burner and pre-workout products, may also have a mild blood-thinning effect. The concern is that stacking the two could add up and make bruising or bleeding more likely.

I'll be honest with you, this is a theoretical worry. It's based on lab studies of yohimbine (a close cousin of rauwolscine) slowing platelets, not on real patient reports. So I'm not trying to alarm you. Still, since you're already on cancer therapy, please run any pre-workout or fat-burner supplement past your oncologist or pharmacist before adding it.

Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine) is a stimulant alkaloid closely related to yohimbine that is marketed mainly in fat-burning and pre-workout supplements. Human evidence for its benefits is very limited, and it can raise heart rate and blood pressure and cause anxiety, so it should be used with caution and is not recommended for people with heart conditions, anxiety, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

About Sorafenib

What Is Sorafenib Used For?

Brand name: Nexavar

Sorafenib tablets are approved to treat three types of cancer. The first is unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) — liver cancer that cannot be removed with surgery. The second is advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) — kidney cancer that has spread or progressed. Both the brand Nexavar and generic sorafenib tablets are approved for these two uses.

The third use is for locally recurrent or metastatic, progressive differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) — thyroid cancer that has spread or worsened and no longer responds to radioactive iodine treatment. Nexavar and sorafenib tablets are both approved for this use as well.
