Chlorothiazide, Methyldopa falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Rehmannia interacts with.

Theoretically, rehmannia might increase the risk of hypotension when taken with antihypertensive drugs.
Animal research shows that rehmannia may have hypotensive effects. Laboratory research shows that formulations of dried and processed rehmannia root inhibit angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE).

This combination pill pairs a water pill (chlorothiazide) with methyldopa, and both work to lower your blood pressure. Here's the concern with adding Rehmannia: in animal and lab studies, this root appeared to lower blood pressure on its own, partly by acting a little like an ACE inhibitor. Stacked on top of your medicine, the worry is that your pressure could drop too far.

If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or faint when standing up. I want to be honest though: this is theoretical, based only on early lab and animal work, not real people taking both. So don't panic. Just check with your pharmacist or doctor before starting Rehmannia, and don't change your blood pressure medicine on your own.
