Isosorbide Dinitrate, Hydralazine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Rehmannia interacts with.

Theoretically, rehmannia might increase the risk of hypotension when taken with antihypertensive drugs.
Animal research shows that rehmannia may have hypotensive effects. Laboratory research shows that formulations of dried and processed rehmannia root inhibit angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE).

BiDil combines two medicines (isosorbide dinitrate and hydralazine) that both work to relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure, which helps your heart in certain types of heart failure. Here's the thing to watch: lab and animal studies hint that rehmannia may also nudge blood pressure down a little, partly by acting somewhat like an ACE inhibitor. So stacking it on top of BiDil could, in theory, add up to too much of a good thing.

If your pressure dropped too far, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, weak, or get a pounding headache, especially when standing up quickly. To be clear, this concern comes from test-tube and animal research only, not human studies, so it's far from proven. Still, since BiDil is serious heart medicine, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding rehmannia.
