Hydrochlorothiazide, Propranolol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C19 (CYP2C19) SUBSTRATES — the group Schisandra interacts with.

Theoretically, schisandra might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2C19 substrates.
In vitro research shows that schisandra inhibits CYP2C19, and animal research shows that schisandra increases the concentration of voriconazole, a CYP2C19 substrate. Theoretically, schisandra may also inhibit the metabolism of other CYP2C19 substrates. This effect has not been reported in humans.

This combination pill pairs propranolol (a beta blocker) with hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill). The piece that touches this interaction is propranolol, which is partly handled by a liver enzyme called CYP2C19. Schisandra has been shown in lab and animal studies to slow that enzyme down, so in theory propranolol could clear out of your body a little more slowly and build up.

If that happened, you might notice more of propranolol's usual effects, like a slower heartbeat, lower blood pressure, lightheadedness, or feeling unusually tired. I want to be honest though: this has only been seen in test tubes and animals, not in people, so the real-world risk is uncertain. It's a reasonable thing to mention to your pharmacist or doctor before adding schisandra.
